Stairs and Slabs

Craft Bamboo Stairs and Bamboo Slab from bamboo materials. Use Bamboo Stairs for roof lines, porch steps, and sloped paths. Use Bamboo Slab for half-height floors, ledges, and ceiling trim. Both blocks are in the registry as separate items, so craft the amount you need for the build rather than expecting one to convert into the other.

Fences and Gates

Craft Bamboo Fence and Bamboo Fence Gate to enclose a yard, farm, or balcony. The Bamboo Fence Gate opens by hand and connects to the Bamboo Fence line. Place gates at path crossings so you can walk through without breaking the fence.

Using the Stonecutter

The mod includes stonecutting recipes, so take your bamboo blocks to a stonecutter to produce shaped variants such as stairs and slabs more directly. This is useful when you need many identical pieces for a large roof or floor. If you are building with dry bamboo, repeat the same steps with Dry Bamboo Stairs, Dry Bamboo Slab, Dry Bamboo Fence, and Dry Bamboo Fence Gate so the whole structure matches.
