Bamboo Chest and Bamboo Trapped Chest

Both storage blocks are crafted from Bamboo Planks. Craft a Bamboo Chest for normal storage. Craft a Bamboo Trapped Chest when you want a chest that emits a redstone signal when opened — useful for hidden doors, alarms, or detecting when someone accesses a container.

Bamboo Bookshelf

Craft a Bamboo Bookshelf from Bamboo Planks. Place it against a wall for decoration, or set it up next to an enchanting area. Because it is part of the same plank family, it matches Bamboo Planks, Bamboo Slab, Bamboo Stairs, and Vertical Bamboo Planks in the same room.

Setting Up a Storage Room

Start by crafting a batch of Bamboo Planks, then turn them into chests. Line the chests along a wall and label the area with a Bamboo Sign. Use Bamboo Trapdoor, Bamboo Door, and Bamboo Fence to close off the room, and Bamboo Ladder if you need to reach a second level. For a reading or enchanting corner, place a Bamboo Bookshelf beside the chests. If you want a hidden entrance, put a Bamboo Trapped Chest behind a Bamboo Door and wire the signal to the door. Keep spare planks in one of the chests so you can craft more storage on the spot.
