How to Use the Bacterium Replacer

What the Replacer Does

The Bacterium Replacer is a block you craft using the mod's shaped recipes. Its job is to convert Bacterium — it takes existing Bacterium and replaces it, letting you reclaim ground that has already been overtaken rather than only preventing new spread.

Setting It Up

Craft the Bacterium Replacer at a crafting table, then place the block directly in or next to the Bacterium you want to convert. Position matters: put the Replacer where it has contact with the Bacterium you are targeting, not off to the side.

Once placed, the Replacer handles the conversion on its own. You do not need to feed it or trigger it manually. Leave it in place while it works through the surrounding Bacterium.

Replacer vs. Jammer

These two blocks solve opposite problems. The Bacterium Jammer stops Bacterium from spreading into an area. The Bacterium Replacer removes Bacterium that is already there. If your base is half-covered, place a Jammer at the edge to halt the advance and a Replacer inside the covered zone to clean it up.

For large infected regions, place multiple Replacers spaced across the area rather than relying on one. Pair them with a Bacterium Splash Potion if you need to re-seed Bacterium somewhere else afterward.
