How to Make a Bacterium Splash Potion

Brewing the Splash Potion

The Bacterium Splash Potion is produced through the mod's crafting recipes. Gather a Bacterium and the other ingredients required by the recipe, then craft the Splash Potion. Because the mod uses shaped and shapeless crafting rather than a brewing stand, you make it at a normal crafting table.

Throwing It

Once crafted, the Bacterium Splash Potion is a throwable item. Aim and throw it at the ground or at a target. On impact it applies its effect to whatever is in range — this is the fastest way to introduce Bacterium to a specific spot without placing blocks by hand.

Use the Splash Potion when you want to seed Bacterium in a location you cannot easily reach, such as across a gap or onto a surface you do not want to walk over. Throw it, then retreat and let the Bacterium establish itself.

Combining With Other Tools

After throwing the Splash Potion, follow up with a Bacterium Replacer if you want to convert the resulting Bacterium into something else, or with a Bacterium Jammer if you change your mind and want to stop it spreading. The Splash Potion is the delivery method; the Replacer and Jammer are the control tools.
