Crafting the Jammer

Craft a Bacterium Jammer using the mod's shaped crafting recipes. The recipe consumes a Bacterium as an ingredient, so you need at least one Bacterium block or item on hand before you can build the Jammer. Place the ingredients in the shaped pattern shown in your recipe book to produce the Jammer block.

Deploying It

Place the Bacterium Jammer block in the area you want to protect. Once placed, it works as a static block — you do not need to activate it with a redstone signal or a separate item. Keep the Jammer in the region where Bacterium is spreading or where you expect it to appear.

The Bacterium Jammer Item is the portable counterpart. Hold it in your inventory or hand when you need to carry the jamming effect with you rather than anchoring it to one spot. Use the block form for permanent protection around a base, and the item form when you are moving through contaminated terrain.

Practical Placement

Surround the area you care about — chests, farms, builds — with Jammers rather than placing a single one and hoping it covers everything. Because the Jammer is a block, you can stack coverage by placing several in a grid. Combine Jammers with a Bacterium Replacer if you also want to convert existing Bacterium rather than only stopping its spread.
