Optimize B3 PvP Shaders for Your System
Check Your Current Performance
Before tweaking settings, launch Minecraft and open the debug screen (F3). Note your current FPS during combat and in open areas. This baseline helps you measure improvements.
Adjust Shader Settings
Open the shader options menu (usually Shift+O or through Video Settings). B3 PvP provides several toggles for visual quality:
- Shadow quality: Lower settings reduce GPU load significantly. Disable shadows entirely if you're on very old hardware.
- Ambient occlusion: Turn this off for a quick FPS boost with minimal visual impact.
- Water reflections: Disable reflective water to free up processing power.
- Particle effects: Reduce or disable extra particles to maintain frame rate during intense fights.
Test and Refine
After each change, return to gameplay and check your FPS again. Make one adjustment at a time so you know which setting helps most. Aim for consistent frame rates above 60 FPS during combat—this is where smooth shaders matter most for PvP.
If you're still experiencing lag, consider lowering your render distance or view distance as a secondary step.
