Create a Basic Configuration File for Your Mod
Setting Up Your Config Class
AzusaConfig uses a structured approach to configuration. Create a new class that will hold your mod's settings. This class should define fields for each configurable value—things like enable/disable toggles, numeric limits, or string options.
Applying Configuration Annotations
Use AzusaConfig's annotation system to mark which fields should appear in the config file. These annotations tell the framework how to serialize and organize your settings. You can group related options together using section markers.
Generating the Config File
Once your class is properly annotated, AzusaConfig automatically generates a config file in your mod's config directory when the game launches. The file will be formatted in a human-readable structure that players can edit directly.
Accessing Config Values in Code
Reference your config class instance throughout your mod's code to read the current settings. AzusaConfig handles reloading when the file changes, so you don't need manual refresh logic.
This approach keeps configuration centralized and maintainable without requiring Quilt Loader.
