How to Farm Turkeys and Cook Turkey Meat

Getting Turkey Eggs

Turkeys lay Turkey Egg. Collect them and place them in a Crate of Turkey Eggs for storage or decoration. You need eggs before you can build up a flock.

Cooking Turkey

Raw Turkey Piece is the base meat. You have three cooking options:

• Smelting: put Raw Turkey Piece in a furnace to get Cooked Turkey Piece.
• Campfire cooking: place Raw Turkey Piece on a campfire for Cooked Turkey Piece.
• Smoking: use a smoker for a faster Cooked Turkey Piece.

Cooked Turkey Piece is the single-serving food. Cooked Turkey is the full-bird food item. Both are edible.

Storage and Decoration

Crate of Turkey Eggs holds your eggs in block form. Cooked Turkey is also a placeable block, so you can set a roasted bird out as decoration or keep it as a food reserve.

If you are building a farm area, pair the turkey setup with Maple Fence and Maple Fence Gate to pen the birds, and use Maple Trapdoor or Maple Door for the coop entrance.
