Troubleshoot Why Items Aren't Auto-Refilling

Check Your Inventory Has Matching Items

The plugin can only refill with items already in your main inventory. Open your inventory and verify you have spare blocks, tools, or potions of the exact same type as what you're using. The plugin won't create items or swap mismatched types.

Verify Items Are in Main Inventory

Spare items must be in your main inventory slots, not in your hotbar, armor slots, or off-hand. Move extras from other slots into your main inventory if needed.

Confirm the Item Actually Ran Out

For blocks and potions, the refill triggers when you place the last block or drink the last bottle. For tools, the swap happens when durability breaks completely. If you still have items left, the plugin won't activate.

Check Mod is Active

Ensure the Auto Item Reload Plugin is enabled in your mod settings. Some servers or modpacks may disable it. Verify it's working by testing with a simple action like placing blocks or breaking a tool intentionally.
