Set Up Health and Hunger Bars to Show Only When Low

The mod lets you define custom percentage thresholds so vital bars only appear when you're in danger. This keeps your screen clean during normal gameplay while ensuring you never miss a critical health or hunger drop.

Steps

1. Open the mod's in-game settings screen (check your keybinds menu for the settings hotkey)

2. Locate the Health Bar Threshold and Hunger Bar Threshold options

3. Set each to your preferred danger level—for example, show health only below 50% and hunger only below 30%

4. Toggle Threshold Mode on for each bar

5. Close the settings and test by taking minor damage or letting hunger deplete slightly

Why This Helps

Threshold mode is ideal for survival runs where you want maximum screen real estate. Your bars remain hidden during normal play but instantly appear the moment your stats drop into the danger zone, giving you immediate visual feedback without constant on-screen clutter.
