Capture Better Screenshots with Filmic Colors

Time Your Screenshots

Aurora Enhanced's filmic color grading shines during specific lighting conditions. Plan screenshots during:

  • Sunset and sunrise for rich sky colors
  • Golden hour (early morning or late afternoon) for warm landscape tones
  • Night time in torch-lit bases to showcase cozy ambiance
  • Stormy weather for dramatic cloud effects

Position for Best Lighting

Stand where natural light and torchlight interact. Caves with torch decorations, outdoor bases at dusk, or clifftop builds during sunset all benefit from the enhanced color grading. Avoid looking directly at the sun; instead, capture the world lit by its warm glow.

Use Vanilla Screenshot Tools

Press F2 (or your bound key) to take screenshots. The shader's filmic effect is automatically applied. No additional mods or settings are needed—the colors you see in-game are what you'll capture.
