Adjust Color Grading Intensity
Access Shader Settings
Open the shader options menu while in-game by pressing the key bound to shader settings (typically accessed through your graphics menu or mod settings). Look for the Aurora Enhanced section to find color grading controls.
Fine-Tune the Effect
Locate the filmic color grading slider or toggle. This controls how strongly the cinematic color filter applies to your world. Lower values keep colors closer to vanilla Minecraft, while higher values intensify the warm, movie-like appearance.
Test Different Times of Day
Adjust settings during different lighting conditions to see how they affect:
- Sunset and sunrise colors
- Torchlight warmth in caves
- Daytime sky appearance
- Shadow tones
Visit caves with torches, travel during sunset, and check your base at different times to find a balance that feels right for your playstyle. Some players prefer subtle enhancement, while others want the full cinematic effect. You can always return to settings and readjust without restarting your world.
