Maintain Vanilla Aesthetics While Using Shaders

Disable Fantasy Effects

AuraBound Shaders blends fantasy and vanilla tones. If you prefer pure vanilla appearance, check shader settings for toggles labeled "fantasy mode," "color grading," or "tone mapping." Disabling these keeps your world closer to unshaded Minecraft.

Reduce Color Saturation

Look for saturation or vibrancy sliders. Lowering these prevents the shader from adding extra color richness, keeping biomes looking more like standard Minecraft while still benefiting from improved lighting.

Keep Shadows Subtle

Reduce shadow intensity or softness to minimal levels. This preserves the blocky, familiar look of vanilla Minecraft while still providing cleaner lighting than the default engine.

Test Block Textures

Visit different block types—stone, wood, dirt, glass—to ensure they still look recognizable. Shaders can sometimes alter how textures appear; if changes feel too dramatic, adjust lighting contrast downward.

Compare Side-by-Side

Toggle the shader on and off (if your launcher allows) to verify the difference feels like lighting improvement rather than a visual overhaul. This confirms you're enhancing vanilla rather than transforming it.
