How to Build and Light an Atum Portal

Gather the Frame Materials

You need a full rectangular frame of Atum Portal blocks before anything happens. Craft the portal blocks using the mod's stonecutting and crafting recipes, then place them in a rectangular ring the same way you would build a Nether portal frame. Leave the interior empty.

Activate the Portal

Once the frame is complete, activate the interior to convert the empty space into a working portal. Step into the activated portal to travel to the Atum dimension. Bring a Bone Torch for light, since the desert dimension is dark at night and hostile spawns are common.

Return Safely

Build a second Atum Portal on the Atum side if you want a guaranteed return trip, or re-enter the portal you arrived through. Mark the coordinates of both sides. The Atum landscape is open desert, so a Bone Ladder helps you climb out of ravines and reach elevated ruins.

First Things to Do on Arrival

• Place Bone Torches around your landing zone to suppress spawns.
• Look for Bone Ore in the terrain; it is the base material for many Atum recipes.
• Collect Nebu by mining and processing it into a Block of Nebu for storage and crafting.
• Note nearby structures; Arrow Trap and Burning Trap blocks are hidden in ruins and will damage you if you walk over them.

Keep the portal frame intact so you can shuttle materials between the Overworld and Atum without rebuilding it.
