How to Build Ritual Structures with Ritual Pedestals and Anchors

Gather Ritual Components

Rituals use Ritual Pedestals arranged around a Ritual Anchor. Craft both using Marble, Runed Marble, Sooty Marble, and Infused Wood components. You will also need Illumination Powder and Stardust for some setups.

Place the Anchor and Pedestals

Place the Ritual Anchor at the center of your ritual area. Surround it with Ritual Pedestals in the pattern the ritual requires — most rituals specify a ring or specific arrangement. Keep the area open to the sky so starlight reaches the anchor.

Activate the Ritual

Place the required items on the Ritual Pedestals. The Ritual Anchor draws starlight and activates the ritual when the correct items are present. Different rituals produce different effects — some boost growth, some protect an area, some convert materials.

Supporting Blocks

Use Marble Pillar, Marble Arch, Marble Bricks, Marble Stairs, Marble Slab, and their Sooty Marble equivalents to build the ritual platform. Runed Marble and Runed Sooty Marble are decorative but often required in specific ritual patterns.

Useful Ritual Items

Keep Illumination Powder, Nocturnal Powder, Stardust, and Resonating Gem on hand. Sealing Sigil and Containment Chalice are used in containment and protection rituals. Check your Astral Tome for the exact ritual layout before building.
