How to Attune to a Constellation

Build the Attunement Altar

The Attunement Altar is where you bind yourself to a constellation. Craft it using Marble, Runed Marble, and Infused Wood components once you have a Starlight Infuser running.

Place the Attunement Altar in an open area. It needs a clear view of the sky to draw starlight.

Discover Constellations

Use a Telescope or the Observatory to view the night sky and reveal constellations. Constellations you find are recorded in your Astral Tome. You can also write them onto Constellation Paper and Parchment for reference or sharing.

Perform the Attunement

Stand at the Attunement Altar at night with the constellation you want selected. The altar consumes starlight and binds you to that constellation, granting its perk. You can re-attune later by returning to the altar.

Perks and Follow-Up

Attunement unlocks perks tied to the constellation you chose — mining, combat, or utility effects. After attuning, you can pursue Celestial Crystal crafting and the Celestial Altar, which requires an attuned player to operate. Attunement is a prerequisite for most advanced Astral Sorcery crafting.
