Crafting the Plow

The Plow is crafted using a shaped recipe that includes a Wheel. Gather the required materials, arrange them in the crafting grid in the correct shape, and collect the finished Plow. Because the Wheel is a shared component across the mod's carts and the Plow, craft extra Wheels in advance if you plan to build several.

Tilling Ground with the Plow

Place the Plow on the ground and hitch an animal to it the same way you would attach an animal to an Animal Cart. Once hitched, drive or lead the animal forward and the Plow tills the soil in its path, converting ground into farmland as it moves.

Keep the path clear of obstacles so the animal can walk a straight line. The Plow works while being pulled, so you do not need to interact with it repeatedly — just keep the animal moving. When you finish tilling, detach the animal and break the Plow to recover it as an item.

Practical Use

Use the Plow to prepare large fields quickly instead of tilling block by block by hand. Pair it with the Animal Cart if you want to haul seeds or harvested crops in the same trip. Store the Plow when not in use so it does not block movement around your farm.
