Set Up the Resource Pack Correctly with OptiFine or Entity Model Features
Required Mods
Assorted Foxes requires either OptiFine or Entity Model Features to function. These mods enable custom entity models and textures that replace default fox appearances.
Installation Verification
1. Check your mod folder: Confirm that either OptiFine or Entity Model Features is installed and active in your launcher.
2. Load the resource pack: Place the Assorted Foxes Resource Pack in your resource packs folder.
3. Enable in-game: Open your world, go to Settings > Resource Packs, and move Assorted Foxes from Available to Active.
4. Verify functionality: Spawn or find a fox. If skins appear colorful and varied instead of the default orange/white, the pack is working.
5. Restart if needed: If foxes still look plain, restart your game and double-check that your mod is loaded before launching.
Troubleshooting
If custom skins don't appear, ensure your mod version is compatible with your Minecraft version. The resource pack depends entirely on the entity model mod being present and active—without it, custom textures cannot load.
