How to Move a Spawner with the Spawner Relocator and Spawner Frame
Breaking and Carrying the Spawner
Place a Spawner Frame against the spawner you want to move. Use the Spawner Relocator on the spawner to detach it from its original position. The relocated spawner is held by the Spawner Relocator until you place it down again. Keep the Spawner Frame with you — it is the anchor that lets the spawner sit in its new spot without reverting.
Setting Up the New Location
Move to where you want the spawner to run. Place the Spawner Frame first, then use the Spawner Relocator on the frame to seat the spawner into it. Once seated, the spawner behaves normally at the new coordinates: it spawns mobs based on its type and the surrounding light and space conditions. Build your collection area around the frame rather than the original spawner location.
Practical Notes
- Bring blocks to seal the spawner room before you relocate, so mobs do not escape during setup.
- The Spawner Frame is a block, so it can be placed on any solid surface.
- If you want to capture the mobs that spawn, pair this setup with a Mob Net or Mob Net Launcher to move individual mobs out.
- Keep the Spawner Relocator in your inventory after placement in case you need to move the spawner again.
