Getting Started with ASCII Text Renderer
Enabling the Shader
Once installed, this shader automatically transforms your Minecraft world into ASCII art. All visual elements—blocks, items, mobs, sky, water, and terrain—are replaced with letters, numbers, and symbols to create a classic terminal aesthetic.
The effect applies globally to your entire view. Blocks become text patterns, creatures display as ASCII characters, and the environment adopts a retro computer look. This is a purely visual change handled through core shaders; gameplay mechanics remain unchanged.
If you want to disable the effect, simply remove or deactivate the shader through your shader settings.
