Using Incremental Orb, Life Crystal, and Lunar Knowledge

The Special Items

Three items sit outside the standard block sets: Incremental Orb, Life Crystal, and Lunar Knowledge. These are the progression pieces of the mod, and each belongs to one crystal line. Incremental Orb pairs with the Incremental Crystal family, Life Crystal is the core of its own family, and Lunar Knowledge belongs to the Lunar line.

Where They Fit in Progression

These items are produced through crafting rather than found, and they feed into the Pedestal of Upgrading workflow. Keep them separate from your building stock — do not let them get mixed into a chest of Blocks, Slabs, and Stairs, or you will lose track of them.

A practical order: establish a source of Incremental Crystal, Life Crystal, and Lunar Crystal first. Craft the Pedestal of Upgrading. Then produce Incremental Orb, Life Crystal, and Lunar Knowledge as your upgrade materials, storing each in its own labeled slot.

When you branch into building, use the Block, Lens, Slab, and Stairs of each family for construction and reserve the Orb, Life Crystal, and Lunar Knowledge for upgrades. Keeping the two roles separate means a building project never stalls your progression, and an upgrade never eats the blocks you set aside for a wall.
