Crafting the Pedestal

The Pedestal of Upgrading is your central station for turning raw crystals into upgrade materials. Build it before you invest in any other crystal block, since most progression routes pass through it.

Gather the crystal types you can already obtain, then craft the Pedestal of Upgrading using a shaped recipe. Once placed, it acts as the anchor for your upgrade work.

Running Upgrades

Place the Pedestal of Upgrading in a clear, well-lit spot where you can reach it from all sides. Keep a stock of Incremental Crystal, Life Crystal, and Lunar Crystal nearby, because these are the inputs you will cycle through as you expand.

Use the pedestal whenever you want to convert or combine crystal materials into higher-tier results. If a recipe does not produce the item you expect, check that you are feeding the correct crystal type — Incremental, Life, and Lunar each follow their own line and do not substitute for one another.

Once you have a steady supply, build a small workshop around the pedestal: storage for each crystal type on one side, and your crafting table on the other. This keeps the upgrade loop fast so you can push toward the Lens, Orb, and block variants without running back and forth.
