Distinguish button states with new 3D models
Using buttons to see state changes
Stone and wooden buttons now have distinct 3D models for idle and pressed states, making redstone contraptions more visually readable.
To observe button models:
1. Place stone buttons and wooden buttons side by side on a wall or floor
2. Leave some unpressed (idle state) and press others by right-clicking
3. Notice the different geometry between idle and active states
4. The pressed state shows a more compressed or recessed appearance
Practical use
This visual feedback is helpful in multiplayer redstone builds where multiple players interact with the same contraption. You can see at a glance which buttons have been activated without needing to check redstone signals or use debug tools.
Try building a simple door or trap mechanism with mixed button types to see how the new models improve clarity. The distinction between states makes it easier to troubleshoot redstone logic in shared projects.
