Silk Touch Through Glyphs

Ars Nouveau does not add a Silk Touch enchantment item. Instead, you replicate the effect through spell glyphs. Build a spell using an effect glyph that preserves block drops, combined with a form glyph that targets the block you want to break. Configure this in your Caster Tome or Archmage Spell Book.

The Annotated Codex lists which glyphs you have unlocked. Check it before assuming a glyph is available — you may need to craft the glyph first using a Blank Glyph and the ars_nouveau:glyph recipe.

Utility Spells Worth Building

Beyond block-breaking, several glyphs cover common tasks. Awakening, Binding, Burrowing, Cascading, Chilling, Cloudshaping, Containment, Depths, Disintegration, and Dominion are all registered glyph effects. Pair them with forms that match the target — self, touch, or projectile.

For travel, equip a Belt of Levitation to hover, or use Conjure Island: Plains and Conjure Island: Desert glyphs to create temporary platforms. The Belt of Unstable Gifts and Dull Trinket are accessory options for experimentation. Keep a Blank Parchment and Blank Thread on hand for crafting new glyphs and spell components as you unlock them.
