Equip Cross-Mod Spells on Gear

Understand Spell Transcription

The mod lets you inscribe spells from one system onto gear designed for the other. Use the Spell Transcription ritual to attach Ars spells to Iron's spellbooks, or Iron's spells to Ars gear.

This unlocks hybrid loadouts where a single piece of equipment casts spells from both mods.

Inscribe and Manage Spells

Perform a Spell Transcription ritual with your target item and desired spell. The spell is now permanently attached to that gear. When you equip it, both the original spells and transcribed cross-mod spells become available.

Sneak and right-click on inscribed items to cycle through all attached spells and select which one to cast.

Remove and Reuse

If you want to change spells, use the Spell Uninscription ritual to remove an inscribed spell without destroying the gear. This lets you experiment with different spell combinations and reuse valuable equipment.

Combine transcription with your mana mode choice: spells now draw from your shared pool, so cross-mod loadouts feel seamless.
