Craft Your First Norse Armor Set

Gather Your Materials

Before you start crafting, decide which armor set appeals to you—Wolf Pelt, Bear Pelt, Cougar Pelt, or one of the skull-themed sets. Each set requires a base armor piece (such as iron, diamond, or netherite) plus specific animal materials found in the world.

Use JEI (Just Enough Items) to look up the exact recipe for your chosen armor piece. This will show you the base armor type and all additional materials needed. Collect these items from the environment or your storage.

Craft at the Smithing Table

Once you have all materials, open a smithing table. Place your base armor piece and the required materials into the crafting slots according to the recipe shown in JEI. The smithing table will combine them into your new cosmetic armor piece.

Your finished armor retains the defensive stats of the base material you used—iron armor stays iron-level protection, diamond stays diamond-level, and so on. Equip it immediately or store it for later use.
