Import a Bedrock Armor Model from Blockbench
Prepare Your Model in Blockbench
Create or open your armor model in Blockbench using the Bedrock Entity template. Design your custom pieces—hats, robes, shoulder pads, or any shape you want. Make sure each piece is a separate cube or group so the mod can recognize individual armor slots. Export your finished model as a .geo.json file (Bedrock geometry format).
Add the Model to Your Mod Pack
Place the exported .geo.json file into your mod's assets/modname/models/armor/ folder. Create the directory structure if it doesn't exist. Name the file clearly, like custom_robe.geo.json.
Register the Armor in Code
In your armor item class or configuration, point to the geometry file you just added. The mod will automatically load the Bedrock format and apply it to your armor set. Test by equipping the armor—you should see your custom 3D shape render on the player instead of the default armor texture.
The mod handles bone animations and player movements automatically, so your armor will bend and move with sneaking, swimming, and other animations without extra setup.
