Using the Grindstone to Process Materials

Setting Up the Grindstone

Place the Grindstone block and right-click it to open its interface. The Grindstone is a processing block, so it takes an input and returns a different output rather than being used directly on the world. Load the material you want to grind into the input slot.

Grinding and Collecting Output

Once the input is in place, the Grindstone processes it. Take the result from the output slot. The ground material feeds into the mod's crafting recipes, so grind what you need before you start crafting rather than grinding everything blindly.

Fitting It Into Your Workshop

Keep the Grindstone near your other processing blocks — the Fertilizer Spreader and Sap Distillery — so you can move between them without walking far. If a recipe you are following calls for a ground material, grind exactly the amount required, then craft immediately so you do not lose track of what has already been processed.

Check the Grindstone's output slot whenever you pass it. A full output slot stalls processing, so empty it regularly if you are running a long grinding session.
