How to Make Basic Fertilizer with the Fertilizer Spreader

Crafting the Fertilizer Spreader

Place the Fertilizer Spreader block down before you do anything else. It is the only block in the mod that turns your gathered materials into Basic Fertilizer, so it is the first thing to set up. Once placed, right-click it to open its interface.

Feeding It Materials

Basic Fertilizer is produced by running organic material through the Fertilizer Spreader. Gather the inputs the spreader accepts and load them into the block's slots. The spreader processes them and outputs Basic Fertilizer, which you can then pull out and use on your crops.

Using the Fertilizer

Hold the finished Basic Fertilizer and use it on farmland the same way you would use bone meal. It applies a growth tick to the crop above the block you target. Because you are producing it yourself through the spreader rather than finding it, you can keep a steady supply going by refilling the spreader whenever it runs dry.

Keep the spreader loaded and check its output slot regularly. If you are also running a Treetap for Sap Ball collection, the two setups pair well — one handles your crops, the other handles your trees.
