Using the Smithing Transform Recipe in the Arcanus Mod

What the smithing_transform recipe is for

The Arcanus Mod includes one smithing_transform recipe. Smithing transform recipes are used at a smithing table to upgrade or convert one item into another, usually consuming a template plus a base item and an addition. In the Arcanus Mod, this recipe is the upgrade path that ties into the mod's registry items.

Running the recipe

1. Place a smithing table and open it.

2. Put the required template, base item, and addition into the three smithing slots.

3. Check your recipe viewer for the exact items — the smithing_transform recipe lists them precisely.

4. Take the transformed result from the output slot.

Do not guess the inputs. Smithing transform recipes are strict: every slot must hold the correct item or no output appears.

Where it fits in progression

Treat the smithing_transform step as the later stage of Arcanus progression. First craft the Initiate Wand with its crafting_shaped recipe and the Mana Flask with its crafting_shapeless recipe. Then handle the smithing transform once you have the base item it requires. The Bookshelf and Display Case are separate placeable blocks and are not part of this upgrade chain — craft and place those whenever you want them in your base.
