How to Craft Turtle Boots, Turtle Chestplate, and Turtle Leggings

The Entry-Level Turtle Gear

Turtle Boots, Turtle Chestplate, and Turtle Leggings are the simpler armor pieces in this mod. They use shaped crafting recipes and are made from scute-based materials rather than Turtle Master Ingots, making them a good stepping stone before you commit to the full Turtle Master set.

Crafting Steps

1. Collect scutes from turtles.

2. Craft a Scute Block from your scutes.

3. Use the Scute Block in the shaped recipes for Turtle Boots, Turtle Chestplate, and Turtle Leggings.

Each piece has its own shaped recipe, so check the grid layout for the specific slot you are making. Craft them one at a time and equip as you go.

Upgrade Path

Once you have Turtle Master Ingots, you can move up to the Helmet of the Turtle Master, Chestplate of the Turtle Master, Leggings of the Turtle Master, and Boots of the Turtle Master. The Turtle gear is useful for early protection while you gather enough scutes to push into the Turtle Master tier.

Practical Tip

Wear the Turtle Chestplate and Turtle Leggings together for the best coverage from this tier, and save your Turtle Master Ingots for the full set.
