How to Cook Spinefish and Make Sea Food
Cooking Spinefish
Raw Spinefish can be cooked three ways: campfire_cooking, smelting, or smoking. Place Raw Spinefish on a campfire, in a furnace, or in a smoker to get Cooked Spinefish. Smoking is the fastest of the three. Cooked Spinefish is a reliable food source while exploring Aquamirae areas.
Preparing Sea Dishes
Beyond plain Cooked Spinefish, you can prepare Poseidon Breakfast, Sea Casserole, and Sea Stew. These are crafted dishes that use aquatic ingredients. Jellyfish Jelly and Fin are among the items you gather from Aquamirae creatures and can go into these recipes. Keep a stock of Cooked Spinefish as your base food and save the more complex dishes for when you need them.
To keep a steady supply, hunt Spinefish (Spinefish Spawn Egg exists if you need to place them) and Anglerfish (Anglerfish Spawn Egg). Eel Spawn Egg, Maw Spawn Egg, and Scuttler Spawn Egg are other creatures you can spawn. Cook everything you catch so it stacks and lasts. A smoker near your base handles bulk cooking quickly, while a campfire works when you are away from base.
