Finding and Fighting Captain Cornelia

Locating the arena

Captain Cornelia is summoned with the Captain Cornelia Spawn Egg. Before spawning her, prepare the area: clear open water or a flat deck, and bring a full Abyssal or Salvager set. Stock Cooked Spinefish, Sea Stew, Sea Casserole, and Poseidon Breakfast for healing. Equip Oxygen Tank and Oxyhelium if the fight takes place underwater.

Recommended weapons

Bring Dreadwake, Tempest Trident, Tidepiercer, Remnant Saber, Shatterblade, or Shatterspike. Angler Fang and Jawbreaker are lighter options. The Rune of the Storm is a key item associated with storm-themed encounters — carry it if you have one. Shell Horn can be used to signal or reposition.

Drops and follow-up

After defeating her, collect any dropped loot and check nearby Frozen Chest blocks. Frozen Key opens Frozen Chests, which may contain Pirate Pouch, Treasure Pouch, Dead Sea Scroll, Logbook, Cracked Record, Music Disc, Ship Graveyard Echo, or Collectible Painting. Use Echo Compass to find the next objective. Captain Cornelia is one of the mod's headline bosses — treat the fight as a gear check and do not attempt it in Terrible-tier armor.
