Cooking Spinefish and Making Sea Stew and Poseidon Breakfast

Cooking Spinefish

Raw Spinefish can be cooked three ways: campfire_cooking, smelting in a furnace, or smoking in a smoker. The smoker is fastest, the campfire needs no fuel, and the furnace is the middle option. All three produce Cooked Spinefish.

Cook a stack before a long dive. Cooked Spinefish restores more hunger than the raw fish and is the base ingredient you will want on hand.

Sea Stew and Poseidon Breakfast

Sea Stew and Poseidon Breakfast are both crafted dishes. Check the crafting table recipe for each to see the exact grid — they use cooked and raw sea ingredients from the mod. Make Sea Stew when you want a single filling meal; make Poseidon Breakfast when you are heading out for a long expedition and want the stronger option.

Both dishes are crafted, not cooked, so you do not need a furnace for them. Gather your fish first, cook what needs cooking, then assemble the dishes at a crafting table.

Keep a spare Sea Stew in your inventory for emergencies. If you run low on hunger mid-dive, eating it saves a trip back to base. Poseidon Breakfast is better saved for boss fights or long structure runs.
