Where Neptunium Comes From

Neptunium is the mod's metal, and it does not generate as ore in the world. You obtain it by fishing. Cast with a Fishing Rod and a Hook attached, then open the containers you pull up: Lockbox and Box. These are the primary sources of Neptunium Nugget, Neptunium Ingot, and occasionally finished Neptunium gear. Better hooks — Gold Hook, Obsidian Hook, Nether Star Hook — improve the odds of pulling the rarer containers.

From Nuggets to Ingots

Neptunium Nugget is the smallest unit. Combine nuggets in a crafting grid to form a Neptunium Ingot. Nine ingots combine into a Neptunium Block, which can be used as a storage block or broken back down into ingots. Keep every nugget you find; they add up quickly across a long fishing session.

What to Craft First

Once you have ingots, the priority crafts are:

• Neptunium Fishing Rod — the best rod, for better loot and longer casts.
• Neptunium Fillet Knife — for processing fish into fillets.
• Neptunium Sword, Neptunium Pickaxe, Neptunium Axe, Neptunium Shovel, Neptunium Hoe — full tool set.
• Neptunium Helmet, Neptunium Chestplate, Neptunium Leggings, Neptunium Boots — full armor set.
• Neptunium Bow — ranged weapon made from the same metal.

Farming More Efficiently

Fish in deep water, use the strongest hook you own, and empty every Lockbox and Box you collect. The more containers you open, the faster your Neptunium supply grows.
