Turning Fish into Fillets

Most fish you catch are processed with a Fillet Knife. Craft an Iron Fillet Knife, Gold Fillet Knife, Diamond Fillet Knife, or Neptunium Fillet Knife, then use it on a raw fish to obtain Cooked Fish Fillet or raw fillet material. The knife tier affects speed and durability, so upgrade as your Neptunium supply grows.

Cooking Methods

Raw fish and fillets can be cooked four ways, matching the mod's cooking recipe types:

• Smelting — in a Furnace.
• Campfire cooking — on a Campfire, no fuel needed.
• Smoking — in a Smoker, the fastest option.
• Blasting — in a Blast Furnace.

Place the raw fish or fillet in the input slot and fuel the station. Cooked Fish Fillet is the finished food item.

Which Fish to Process

Every catchable fish can be filleted, including Bluegill, Carp, Minnow, Perch, Catfish, Brown Trout, Rainbow Trout, Atlantic Cod, Atlantic Herring, Atlantic Halibut, Pacific Halibut, Pink Salmon, Pollock, Tuna, Red Grouper, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Blackfish, Gar, Muskellunge, Capitaine, Bayad, Boulti, Synodontis, Tambaqui, Arapaima, Piranha, Goldfish, Jellyfish, Brown Shrooma, and Red Shrooma.

Storing Your Catch

Keep raw fish in a Bucket if you want to transport them alive — Bucket of Carp, Bucket of Tuna, and the rest exist for every fish. Otherwise fillet immediately and cook in bulk with a Smoker for the fastest results.
