How to Use Spatial Storage and Portable Cells
Spatial components
Spatial storage moves a region of the world into a cell. Build the tiers from 2³ Spatial Component, 16³ Spatial Component, and 128³ Spatial Component, then craft the matching 2³ Spatial Storage Cell, 16³ Spatial Storage Cell, and 128³ Spatial Storage Cell. The number is the cube edge length the cell can hold.
Place the cell in a Spatial IO Port (implied) and define the region with Spatial Pylon blocks (implied) around the volume. Power the setup through your ME Controller and Energy Acceptor. When triggered, the enclosed blocks and entities are stored in the cell and the area is cleared.
Portable cells
For carrying storage on your person, craft 1k, 4k, 16k, 64k, or 256k Portable Item Cell and the matching Portable Fluid Cell. These hold items or fluids without needing a network connection.
Managing cells
Use a Cell Workbench to set which items or fluids a cell accepts and to partition it. Capacity Card increases the number of distinct types a cell can store. ME Chest reads a single cell directly, useful for sorting before committing to a drive.
Cables and routing
Run AE2 Cable and/or Bus between the spatial setup and the controller. ME Dense Smart Cable and ME Dense Covered Cable carry more channels over distance. Cable Anchor and Cable Facade keep the run tidy.
