How to Set Up Autocrafting with Patterns and Providers
Pattern creation
Craft a Blank Pattern, then encode it in a Pattern Provider or via the ME Interface encoding slot. Encoded patterns drive Crafting Unit clusters. Add Crafting Storage blocks — 1k, 4k, 16k, 64k, or 256k — to raise how many patterns a single cluster can hold.
Add Crafting Co-Processing Unit blocks to run more patterns in parallel, and a Crafting Monitor to watch job progress.
Providers and interfaces
Place an ME Pattern Provider against the machine or inventory that performs the recipe. The provider pushes ingredients and pulls results. Use ME Interface where you want the network to expose or accept items directly.
For item movement into and out of the network, ME IO Port transfers stacks between cells and storage. Cell Workbench configures what a storage cell accepts, and Capacity Card raises how many types a cell holds.
Cards and upgrades
Install Basic Card, Advanced Card, Acceleration Card, and Capacity Card into supported buses and machines to change behavior. Annihilation Core and Formation Core (implied) drive import/export behavior on buses.
Powering the job
Every crafting cluster and provider needs network power. Confirm an Energy Acceptor touches the ME Controller and that an Energy Cell or Dense Energy Cell holds charge. If jobs stall, check the Crafting Monitor and confirm the provider faces the correct machine.
