Find and Grow Budding Certus Quartz

Certus Quartz generates in Budding Certus Quartz clusters underground. Budding blocks come in four stages: Flawed, Chipped, Damaged, and full Budding Certus Quartz. Only the full Budding block regrows clusters; the lower stages do not. Place a Growth Accelerator next to a Budding block to speed up cluster growth. Mine the mature Certus Quartz Crystal clusters that form on the budding block.

Charge Crystals

Place a Charger and insert Certus Quartz Crystal to produce Charged Certus Quartz Crystal. Charged crystals are required for Fluix Crystal crafting and for several processors. The Charger also recharges tools and Portable Item Cell or Portable Fluid Cell items.

Inscribe Processors

Place an Inscriber and feed it Certus Quartz, Fluix Crystal, or other inputs along with a Calculation Processor, Engineering Processor, or Logic Processor press. The Inscriber produces the corresponding processor, which is used in ME Interface, ME Pattern Provider, Crafting Storage, and most advanced AE2 blocks. Combine Certus Quartz Dust with sand and other ingredients in a crafting grid to make Fluix Crystal, the base material for cables and many devices.
