How to Craft Processors and Cards in the Inscriber

Inscriber basics

Place an Inscriber and give it power through AE2 Cable and/or Bus. The Inscriber has slots for a top press, a bottom press, and an input. Insert Certus Quartz Crystal, Charged Certus Quartz Crystal, Certus Quartz Dust, or metal ingots depending on the recipe, then apply the correct press to produce a processor or component.

Common outputs include Calculation Processor, Basic Card, Advanced Card, Acceleration Card, Capacity Card, and Annihilation Core. Each requires specific presses and inputs; check the recipe viewer for the exact press and ingredient for the processor you need.

Using processors and cards

Calculation Processor is a core ingredient for crafting CPUs and many AE2 devices. Basic Card and Advanced Card upgrade machines and interfaces. Acceleration Card speeds up devices such as interfaces and import/export buses. Capacity Card increases how many items a device can hold or filter.

Annihilation Core is used in destruction-oriented devices. Charged Staff is crafted from charged materials and used as a tool. Keep a steady supply of Certus Quartz Crystal and Charged Certus Quartz Crystal feeding the Inscriber so you can batch-produce processors. If a recipe will not start, confirm the correct press is in the top or bottom slot and that the Inscriber has power.
