Power and the Controller

Place an ME Controller as the hub of your network. Feed it power through an Energy Acceptor connected to any generator, or attach an Energy Cell or Dense Energy Cell as a buffer. Run ME Glass Cable or ME Covered Cable from the Controller to each device you want online. Cables connect only to the faces you point them at, so use a Certus Quartz Wrench to reorient any connection that faces the wrong way.

Adding Storage

Place an ME Drive on the network and insert storage cells into its slots. Craft cells by combining an ME Storage Component (1k, 4k, 16k, 64k, or 256k) with a housing in a crafting grid. For a single chest-like block, use an ME Chest instead — it holds one cell and exposes its contents directly. To move items in bulk, place an ME IO Port and push cells through it to transfer contents between a cell and the network.

Accessing the Network

Attach an ME Interface or a Crafting Monitor to a cable to open the network's item list. Use a Cell Workbench to partition a storage cell so it only accepts specific items, which prevents one cell from filling with junk. Add a ME Wireless Access Point and a Wireless Terminal to reach the network from a distance.
