How to Use Spawner Runes and Spawner Upgrades

Applying Spawner Runes

Spawner Runes modify how a spawner behaves. Apply a rune to a spawner to change its properties. Different runes give different effects, so pick the rune that matches the spawner you are tuning.

Upgrade Runes

Upgrade Runes are specialized spawner runes. The Frontiersman's Spawner Upgrade Rune, Mountaineer's Spawner Upgrade Rune, Thundering Spawner Upgrade Rune, and Wayfarer's Spawner Upgrade Rune each push a spawner toward a particular behavior. The Infused Spawner Rune is another option in the same family. Choose based on what you want the spawner to do.

Controlling and Containing Spawners

Use a Rune of Control to manage spawner behavior, and a Rune of Spawning Range to adjust how far the spawner reaches. To move or lock down a spawner, use Spawner Chain. A Caged Invader holds an invader captive; the Apothic Invader Summoner brings invaders into play.

Practical Setup

1. Decide the spawner's role.

2. Apply the matching Spawner Rune or Upgrade Rune.

3. Adjust range with a Rune of Spawning Range.

4. Contain or relocate with Spawner Chain.
