How to Use Sigils, Charms, and Augments

Sigils and What They Do

Sigils are consumable applications for gear. Sigil of Socketing opens sockets. Sigil of Withdrawal removes gems. Sigil of Unnaming clears an item's name and modifications. Sigil of Enhancement, Sigil of Malice, Sigil of Rebirth, Sigil of Supremacy, and Sigil of Socketing round out the set — each applies its own effect to the target item. Keep a stock of the ones you use most.

Charms and Trinkets

Charms appear as Charm of %s and provide their effect while carried. The Lucky Rabbit's Foot is another carried item with its own benefit. Keep charms in your inventory during combat and exploration so their effects stay active.

Augments

Use the Augmenting Table to apply augments to your gear. Augments add stat modifications on top of reforging and gems. Because they stack with sockets, augment your best pieces after you have reforged and socketed them.

Recommended Order

1. Reforge the item.

2. Apply Sigil of Socketing.

3. Insert cut gems.

4. Apply augments at the Augmenting Table.

5. Carry charms for passive effects.

This order avoids wasting sigils and gems on gear you are still rerolling.
