How to Reforge and Augment Equipment

Reforging Basics

Start at the Simple Reforging Table. It rerolls the affixes on a piece of gear, which is the fastest way to replace a bad roll early on. Feed it the item you want changed and the required materials, then take the result. When you outgrow the simple version, move up to the Reforging Table for stronger and more controlled rerolls.

Augmenting Gear

Bring your reforged item to the Augmenting Table. This is where you apply augments and manage the extra properties layered onto equipment. Reforge first to get a good base roll, then augment to push the item further. Doing it in that order avoids wasting augment materials on a piece you will reroll anyway.

Sigils and Control

Several sigils drive the process. The Sigil of Enhancement improves an item's properties, the Sigil of Socketing opens sockets for gems, and the Sigil of Supremacy and Sigil of Malice apply their own effects. The Sigil of Unnaming strips a name or identity from an item, and the Sigil of Withdrawal pulls something back out. Keep these stocked so you can adjust gear without a full rebuild.

Reclaiming Old Gear

When an item is fully replaced, run it through the Salvaging Table to recover materials. Recycle the output into your next Reforging Table session so your material supply keeps up with repeated rerolls.
