Crafting and Using Javelins

Iron Javelin and Diamond Javelin

The mod adds two throwable weapons: Iron Javelin and Diamond Javelin. Both are crafted at a crafting table using shaped recipes. The Iron Javelin uses iron-tier materials, and the Diamond Javelin uses diamond-tier materials.

Craft a batch of Iron Javelins early if you want a ranged option before you have diamonds. Once you have diamonds, upgrade to Diamond Javelins for a stronger throw.

Using Javelins in Play

Javelins are throwable, so keep a stack in your hotbar for ranged attacks against mobs or for hitting targets at a distance. Because they are consumed or dropped on use depending on how you throw them, bring more than one.

Pair javelins with the mod's other combat-adjacent items. The Arcane Rune and Rune of Unleashed Nature are decorative and functional blocks rather than weapons, so javelins remain your main ranged tool from this mod.

If you are building an arena or training area, place Willful Stone blocks as targets and backstops. Their many colors let you mark distance lanes clearly, and they blend with Blood Wood Fence and Blood Wood Fence Gate for a finished look.
