How to Craft Your First Animal Bike

Gather the Base Materials

Every Animal Bike is made with a shaped crafting recipe, and most of them share the same foundation: a Rawhide and a Fossil. You will need to obtain both before you can build any bike.

Rawhide and Fossil are the two core components that appear across the bike recipes. Collect them first, then decide which bike you want to build.

Pick a Bike and Craft It

The simplest bikes to aim for early are the ones tied to common mobs you already encounter: Pig Bike, Cow Bike, Sheep Bike, Chicken Bike, and Wolf Bike. Each of these uses a shaped recipe combining your Rawhide and Fossil with materials themed to that animal.

Place your ingredients into the crafting grid in the pattern the recipe calls for. The result is the finished bike item, which you can then place in the world and ride.

Once you have one bike working, the same Rawhide-and-Fossil base lets you branch out. Hostile-mob bikes like Creeper Bike, Spider Bike, and Slime Bike follow the same shaped-recipe structure, so the crafting habit you build on your first bike carries directly into the rest of the set.
