Getting Started with Ancient Cipher Tablets

Setting Up Your Study Space

Place a TabSlate block in your world to open a floating window interface. This terminal gives you access to the mod's core features: a conlang dictionary, example sentences, and your inventory panels all in one view.

To study while exploring, equip a HeadStele in your head armor slot. This wearable headset keeps your dictionary and inventory windows visible on your heads-up display as you move around.

Use the dictionary window to search for constructed language terms and read their meanings with sentence examples. When you've gathered notes or lists you want to keep, save them into dyeable File items—these can be stored in chests or traded with other players. Server administrators can add custom languages by creating datapacks in the data/astraglossa/transliterations/ folder.
