Crafting the Blowgun

The Blowgun is a shaped crafting recipe. Place the required materials in the crafting grid in the correct pattern to produce one Blowgun. Once crafted, it sits in your inventory like any other tool and is used to fire Darts.

Crafting and Using Darts

Darts are also made with a shaped crafting recipe. Craft a batch before you head out, since each shot consumes one Dart. Hold the Blowgun, have Darts in your inventory, and fire at your target. The Blowgun is the delivery tool; the Dart is the ammunition.

Practical Progression

1. Gather the materials for the Blowgun recipe and craft it.

2. Gather the materials for the Dart recipe and craft several Darts.

3. Equip the Blowgun and keep Darts stocked in your inventory.

4. Fire at mobs or targets from range.

Because both items use shaped recipes, lay the ingredients out in the exact pattern the recipe calls for rather than dropping them in randomly. If a recipe will not complete, the grid pattern is almost always the reason. Keep spare Darts in a Crate near where you use the Blowgun so you can restock without a trip back to your main storage.
