Crafting the Ducky Mask

The Ducky Mask is made with a shaped crafting recipe. Lay the ingredients out in the exact pattern in the crafting grid to produce it. Like other wearable items, it goes into your inventory first.

Wearing the Ducky Mask

Equip the Ducky Mask in your armor or head slot the same way you would any helmet. While worn, it occupies that slot, so plan around losing the protection a normal helmet would give you. Take it off by moving it back into your inventory.

Practical Use

1. Craft the Ducky Mask with its shaped recipe.

2. Equip it in your head slot.

3. Keep it equipped while you want its effect.

4. Swap back to a normal helmet when you need armor instead.

Storage and Swapping

If you switch between the Ducky Mask and a regular helmet often, keep the one you are not wearing in a Crate near your base entrance or work area. That way the swap takes a second instead of a trip to a chest. The Ducky Mask is a single item, so you only need to craft one — there is no reason to make duplicates unless you want spares stored in different locations.
