Safe Customization Methods

You can modify spider colors and textures while keeping animations intact. The key is editing texture files, not model files.

How to Edit Textures

1. Open the AL's Spiders Revamped X Fresh Animations pack folder

2. Navigate to assets/minecraft/textures/entity/spider/

3. Find texture files for the spider variant you want to change (standard spider, scorpion, bone spider, etc.)

4. Open the .png file in an image editor like Photoshop or free alternatives

5. Modify colors, add patterns, or adjust eye glow

6. Save the file with the same name and format

7. Reload resource packs in-game

What NOT to Edit

Do not modify files in the models/ folder—these control how animations play. Changing model files will break the Fresh Animations compatibility and cause spiders to move incorrectly. Stick to texture edits only for safe customization.
